Merch.com designs custom swag, promotional products and corporate gifts from scratch for companies, and ships them worldwide. We run production on three continents, our own design studio, warehousing, kitting and fulfillment, and branded company stores, all on software we build ourselves. We are a small team that moves fast and gives people real ownership.
The job
You own our books and our finance operations. Most of the bookkeeping is automated. We need someone who makes sure it is right and runs down every problem without being asked.
What you will do
- Keep the books clean in QuickBooks Online, with bills entered, bank and card feeds matched and the month closed on time
- Make sure every report is accurate before anyone relies on it
- Keep state and federal registrations and filings current, including sales tax in several states
- Work directly with our outside accountants
- Find problems in the numbers and fix them
What you bring
- 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping, including month-end close
- Daily QuickBooks Online experience
- Multi-state sales tax experience (a plus)
- The habit of chasing things to the end
Pay and benefits
$80,000 to $95,000.
