When it ships, the order is marked fulfilled in Shopify with a clickable tracking link. If Shopify misses the update, we retry it.
Nothing ships that should not
An order whose payment is still pending is held. Add rules for risky, high-value or out-of-region orders and those wait for review too.

Each connected store gets its own settings in your Merch.com portal, so a wholesale store and a consumer store can play by different rules.
Your product listings and stock counts stay managed in Shopify. Live stock levels and low-stock alerts for the merch we hold sit in your Merch.com portal.

How does the Merch.com Shopify integration work?
You connect your Shopify store to your Merch.com account. When a shopper places an order for merch we hold for you, the order comes to us automatically, ships from the closest warehouse with stock, and is marked fulfilled in Shopify with the tracking number.
How do I connect my Shopify store?
Install the Merch.com app from the Shopify App Store, or sign in to your Merch.com portal, open Settings, then Stores, choose Add store and enter your myshopify.com domain. You approve the app on Shopify and land straight back in the portal. Nobody handles an API key.
Does it cost anything?
The Shopify app is free. You pay for the merch we produce and for fulfillment and shipping, exactly as you would for any other order with us.
Does inventory sync into Shopify?
Not automatically. Your product listings and stock counts stay managed in Shopify, while live stock levels and low-stock alerts for the merch we hold are in your Merch.com portal. If an order comes in for something we are out of, it is held rather than lost.
What happens to unpaid or risky orders?
An order whose payment is still pending is held. For bank transfer, invoice or cash on delivery orders you choose per store whether to hold until paid or ship anyway. You can also add protection rules that hold orders over an amount, outside the countries you serve, from throwaway email domains, flagged as risky by Shopify, or arriving in suspicious bursts.
What if a cart mixes your products with ones I ship myself?
You decide per store: refuse the whole order, or fulfill only the items we stock and leave the rest to you.
Can I sell internationally?
Yes. Orders route to the closest of our US, UK and EU warehouses that has the item, and you can choose which warehouses serve which countries for each store.
Can I connect more than one Shopify store?
Yes. Connect as many stores as you run to one account. Each keeps its own routing, payment and protection settings, and shows its own connection health so you know if one needs to be reconnected.
What if an order is cancelled?
Tell us to stop an order and our team cancels it on both sides, refunding the shopper through Shopify so the two systems agree. If you cancel in Shopify first, let your account team know so we can stop it before it ships.
I do not have a Shopify store. Can Merch.com host one?
Yes. Merch Shops is our own branded store, built and hosted by us on your domain and stocked with the merch we already hold for you. Tell us what you want to sell and we will build it with you.
